Apple releases watchOS 8.5.1 with bug fixes for Apple Watch
After watchOS 8.5 was launched earlier this month, Apple has now released watchOS 8.5.1 for the Apple Watch, which includes bug patches.
The new Apple Watch update is available today along with iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 for iPhone and iPad, which also include bug fixes. These include a patch for a problem where an iPhone’s battery may discharge more quickly than expected after updating to iOS 15.4, made for iPhone hearing devices may lose connection within some third-party apps, and braille devices may become unresponsive while navigating text or displaying an alert.
Through the iPhone’s Watch app, users may now download watchOS 8.5.1. The Apple Watch must be charged to at least 50% before users can start the update, and the watch must remain there while the associated iPhone is nearby for the software to load.
