Apple rumored to launch new M3 iMac in 2023

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman over the weekend, a new version of the machine running on an unknown M3 processor would probably debut at some time next year. Apple is reported to be working on an enhanced version of the M1 24-inch iMac.

The report makes no mention of what else will be new with the updated version, as suggested in the most recent issue of his weekly Power On newsletter, but it is likely that changes will be relatively minor given that Apple dramatically redesigned the iMac in 2021, featuring a much more compact and thin design than the previous models.

Gurman previously said that the M3 iMac isn’t anticipated to be on sale until the end of 2023, indicating that the machine may debut in October of next year, around the time that Apple usually announces improvements to the Mac range.

Apple is speculated to introduce updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models before the debut of the new M3 iMac as early as October this year. A new Mac mini is also expected to be released before 2022 comes to an end.
