Valentine’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge reward not showing for some users

Apple is giving a special reward in the Fitness app to users who complete the Heart Month Valentine’s Day Apple Watch Activity Challenge today only in exchange for adding 60 minutes of activity to their Exercise ring. However, some users don’t seem to be receiving the virtual reward despite completing the challenge.

The Apple Watch Activity Challenge is still shown as unfinished in the Fitness app on the iPhone despite more than 60 minutes of activity being recorded on February 14th, according to reports from users on Twitter and online forums. This is frustrating and confusing.

Users on Twitter are asking Apple Support for guidance since they don’t want to lose out on today’s unique challenge, but it doesn’t seem that there is a method to force the Valentine’s Day incentive to appear.

Apple directs users who are having trouble with their award not appearing to Apple.com, where it is stated that “You will earn the award within 9 days of completing the Activity Challenge.” Apple also suggests that users keep their iPhone and Apple Watch connected to the same Wi-Fi network to ensure proper syncing.

It seems that the missing prizes aren’t a common problem since postings have also included images of the exclusive iMessage stickers and sparkling Fitness award.
