iOS 15.4 Adds New Emoji Like Melting Face, Biting Lip, Heart Hands, Troll and More
Apple has enabled support for Emoji 14 with the iOS 15.4 update, providing a variety of new emoji such as melting face, biting lip, heart hands, and more. Emoji 14 adds 37 new emoji and 75 skin tone variations, for a total of 112 characters.
Melting face, saluting face, face with wide eyes and hand over mouth, peeping eye, diagonal mouth, and dotted line face are among the new faces, while biting lip and bubbles are among the new emojis.
Heart hands, rightwards hand, leftwards hand, palm down hand, palm up hand, hand with index finger and thumb crossed, index pointing towards the viewer, and an upgrade to the handshake emoji are among the new hand emojis.
New objects include a nest with eggs, an empty nest, an x-ray, a crutch, a playground slide, a wheel, a ring buoy, hamsa, a mirror ball, a jar, an identity card, and a low battery, while flora and animals will include coral and lotus. In terms of fantasy characters, we may anticipate a new troll emoji, as well as new culinary items such as eggs, beans, and flowing fluids.
The new emoji are compatible with the iPhone and iPad running iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4, as well as the Mac running macOS Monterey 12.3.
