IPhone 13 Colors: Deciding on the Right Color

In 2021, Apple released the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro in a variety of colours, including some well-known classics and brand-new colours. If you have your heart set on a certain shade, you may not be able to obtain your favourite model in it because the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro come in various colour options.

IPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini

There are six colour options for the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13, four of them are brand-new hues. Apple decided to provide a more subdued colour scheme this year, in contrast to past regular iPhone lineup colour selections, which tended to be bolder and brighter.

The ‌iPhone 13‌ mini and ‌iPhone 13‌’s six available colors are:

  • PRODUCT (RED)
  • Starlight
  • Midnight
  • Blue
  • Pink
  • Green

The brilliant (PRODUCT)RED colour is the only one from last year’s iPhone 12 range that is directly carried over, but all five of the other colours are new hues, even if several are comparable to those from the previous model. A stunning red iPhone 13 is being offered by Apple in collaboration with (PRODUCT) RED, with a percentage of the sales going to the Global Fund COVID-19 Response, which supports healthcare systems and HIV and AIDS initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa.

White from the previous year, which had edges made of silver metal, is replaced by Starlight. Similar to the White choice from the previous year, Starlight is now a much warmer tint that is nearly pearl or cream-colored. The margins of the silver are now somewhat gilded to suit with the new, cosier appearance. Starlight is almost identical to the cold Silver hue of the iPhone 13 Pro, but with less noticeable matte metal edges and a warmer, almost champagne tone.

The Midnight iPhone 13 is a new colour and should not be mistaken with earlier Black, Space Gray, or Graphite models. The darkest colour choice in the list is now Midnight, which varies from Black in that it includes a little tint of navy blue.

Although there was a Blue colour in the iPhone 12 series before, the Blue on the iPhone 13 is paler, warmer, and has a tint of turquoise. Purple is replaced with a soft, candyfloss-like Pink tint.

Although they originally did not include a green colour from the iPhone 12 range, Apple included a new Green colour choice for the iPhone 13 in March 2022. Compared to the Green colour that the iPhone 12 offers, it is far darker.

Pro and Max models of the iPhone 13

Five colours, all of which vary from those offered with the iPhone 13 models, are available for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ Max’s five available colors are:

  • Graphite
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Sierra Blue
  • Alpine Green

With the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max from last year, Graphite, Gold, and Silver were all options; Sierra Blue was the sole brand-new colour at first. Sierra Blue, which is more lighter and brighter and more closer to a baby blue tint, takes the place of Pacific Blue from previous year.

It’s important to note that the Silver colour of the iPhone 13 Pro only applies to the corners of the phone. The back of the Silver iPhone 13 Pro is really white. Furthermore, the Graphite hue really resembles Space Gray from earlier versions.

Apple introduced a new Alpine Green colorway for the iPhone 13 Pro in March 2022. In contrast to Alpine Green, Midnight Green from the iPhone 11 Pro was the last time Apple provided a green colour choice for its Pro range of iPhones.

Methods for Selecting Colors

If you use an iPhone cover, you may want to think about what colour of the device would go best with it. If you choose a more colourful cover, it’s possible that you prefer more neutral colours like Midnight or Starlight for the iPhone 13 or Graphite or Silver for the iPhone 13 Pro.

Similarly, because to their more neutral, almost monochromatic hues, Starlight, Midnight, Silver, and Graphite may age more favourably over time when new gadgets are launched. If you don’t use a case, you may want to choose for a more striking colour, such Blue or Gold.

Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Pink, Sierra Blue, and Alpine Green are your finest choices if you desire an iPhone in a new hue. The colours that are most likely to be new and to suggest that you have the most recent iteration of a gadget are likely to be pink, sierra blue, and alpine green.

Your colour preference can also be influenced by how often you replace your iPhone. If you update every year, you may feel more comfortable investing in a striking new colour, but if you maintain your iPhone for a long time, it could be a better idea to think about an older colour you liked if it’s still available.

Customers who own various Apple products may also wish to get an iPhone in a colour that matches their other products. For instance, the Graphite iPhone 13 Pro would go best with a Space Gray MacBook Pro if you currently own one. The Pink 24-inch iMac best complements the PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 13, and if you have a Silver stainless steel Apple Watch, it will match the Silver iPhone 13 Pro.
