Apple reportedly planning new 15-inch MacBook Air for launch in 2023

A fresh story from Bloomberg claims that Apple is developing a new, bigger 15-inch MacBook Air that may be introduced as early as next spring. This comes just after Apple unveiled its brand-new 13.6-inch M2 MacBook Air at WWDC on Monday.

According to the article, in addition to the speculated new 15-inch MacBook Air, Apple is also working on a 12-inch MacBook, hinting to the revival of the MacBook series that was abandoned when the 12-inch Retina MacBook was retired in 2019.

Bloomberg claims that Apple’s newly unveiled M2 MacBook Air, which ditches the traditional MacBook Air wedge-shape design in favour of something more akin to the flat edges of the 2021 MacBook Pro, will carry over into the new 15-inch MacBook Air. It comes in four colours: silver, space grey, midnight, and starlight, offers MagSafe charging, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a four-speaker sound system, up to 18 hours of battery life, and more.
