IPhone 13 Teardowns Reveal Battery Capacities across All Four Models

Teardowns of the four iPhone 13 versions have begun to appear on YouTube as the smartphones start Apple ship to consumers worldwide. A noteworthy finding from the teardowns is the battery capacity for all four versions.

According to Apple, all four iPhone 13 models have bigger batteries than earlier versions, which the battery capacities support:

• 2,406 mAh for the iPhone 13 mini
• 3,227 mAh for iPhone 13
• 3,095 mAh for the iPhone 13 Pro
• 4,352 mAh for the iPhone 13 Pro

All four of the iPhone 13 models’ battery capacity match those seen in a Chinese database earlier this year.

Here are the battery capacity for iPhone 12 versions as a point of comparison:

• 2,227 mAh for the iPhone 12 mini
• 2,815 mAh, iPhone 12
• 2,815 mAh for the iPhone 12 Pro
• 3,687 mAh for the iPhone 12 Pro

Apple claims that the iPhone 13 Pro has a battery life that is up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a battery life that is up to 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
